Quincy was my first dog I raised completely myself from a pup. He was also the official beginning of N-Vee Brittanys as I got the idea for the kennel name from his registered name. The one and only time my mom ever helped me show she beat me with Quincy in Canada so I made her take him in the group ring.

My dad finally managed to get him away from me when he was nearly 4 years old to start in the field. Apparently, the lack of early field training didn’t hurt him because he was a natural. Unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be because Quincy started having seizures. He went on medication which greatly lessened the frequency of the seizures. However, at 5 ½ years old he started having cluster seizures that the vet was unable to bring him around from and we had to make the difficult decision to let him go. He was a good friend gone much too soon, but not forgotten.
