PEDIGREE

I was looking for a Brittany from good bloodlines to show and breed eventually. I contacted several breeders and I really liked Ch Do-Well’s JB Jason CD. I also liked the dogs from Chukar Hill Brittanys. I put a deposit on a breeding that didn't take, but as it turns out they referred me to someone that had a Britt from them that had a litter due by Jason. Gypsy arrived on my 16th birthday during a hot streak of 100 degree plus temperatures. We drove 5 hours to the airport to pick her up and got stranded on the side of the road on the way back because the gas tank wouldn't switch over.

Gypsy was attacked by a German Shepherd at handling class when she was a puppy. It took her a long time to get over that incident. Gypsy was shown extensively in Canada & had many BOB wins there. When I made the decision to breed her I looked at a lot of dogs and I decided on Dual Ch Hybrittin’s Jeremiah Weed. Unfortunately, the breeding didn’t take. The Cohens had just recently acquired a dog sired by Weed named Ch Adjustor of Connie so I chose to breed Gypsy to him for the repeat breeding.

When I moved out on my own I brought Gypsy with me, but not long after my mom asked if Gypsy could come back to live with them. She lived a good life getting lots of attention when my parents retired. She even got to spend her last winters in Florida. Sadly she had a stroke and my dad had to make the decision to let her go just six weeks short of her 16th birthday.
